Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I dropped them and found a new provider

They never answer the phone, never return answering service and poor overall service. I've run out of ostomy pouches so I'm using towels. They didn't come through with change in new prescription. As a desperate person cannot make contact. For a medical supply company that's outrageous. I'm now searching for a new supplier which I should have done earlier.

No concern for patient care whatsoever

Every call has a wait time of one hour or more just to speak with a customer service rep. They do not care about the patients welfare. I am dependent on supplemental oxygen and called then to have refill/exchange three business days prior to actually being empty and a full week later, I'm still without any refills. If the power went out at my house, the only O2 I have (floor concentrator machine) would be unavailable. Then, where would I be? On my way to the ER! Being polite with these people doesn't get your service any sooner and being as rude to them as they are to you only gets you hung up on. The BBB has numerous complaints on this company. I just don't understand how they could possibly be in the healthcare business?

I have also had the issue of no ability to speak to someone regarding issues. They do not answer and they do not call back if you leave a call back request.

TIFFANY from prescott valley location could care less if the patients need to breathe. She'll transfer you to Clearwater, Florida Linecare branch to not deal with you.all I need was to get on the schedule for tank delivery. It took a week and half to finally get through to someone, by then I had 1 tank left and tells me I can't get on schedule for another 6 days! When I started to ask how am I supposed to breathe she sighed irritated and transfered me. Nice when someone not on oxygen basically tells you to just deal with it and sends your call to Florida. I planned! Your facility never returns calls!!!

Have been with them for several years and whenever I called to reorder supplies they are always overwhelmed with phone calls and refer me to the answering service. The answering service says they will call back and they never do. I have to call at least three or four times every time.

Always on hold for 45 mins or more to speak with someone. Orders shipped missing items, but trying to get them re-delivered never happens. Horrible customer service

Unable to get oxygen tanks

For the past 3 days have had to leave a message as they have changed their system. Talked to Sam, Nicole & Nicholas. NO ONE EVER CALLS BACK!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING LEGAL ACTION. Will be contacting the pulmonologist, better business bureau, Humana and blasting them on Facebook. This company sucks!

You are so right. I have been trying to get an electric wheelchair since June 2023.

Latest they told Humana, is as soon as they can calculate my co-pay they would contact me. Now how hard is it to calculate 20% of the price of the wheelchair?

stay away...Never answer the phones, rude to talk to, constant interrupting and must have said we don't or we can't 10 times... I could go on but they average 1 star says it all... the management there should be fired and new caring employees brought in. Doesn't the company executives read or check up on these people working for them and see these bad reviews. Doesn't say much about them either...Urgggg

Terrible experience with DME dispensing

I work for a skilled nursing facility and order DME weekly for my discharges and this company has been the hardest to work with. I have had issues getting my DME because the Medicare team is argumentative and doesn't communicate with proper notice. I have reported this multiple times to upper management and it's still not been addressed. Something needs to change or you're going to lose a lot of business in addition to losing mine.

If I could give this review zero stars I would. Preferred is the most unprofessional business I have ever been with. They are constantly messing up orders and it takes an average of 45 minutes or so on hold waiting for an actual person to talk to. Too bad this company is the only one that serves my area.If you can find another company for your DME needs, definitely do so. Waiting on a bath hair for almost a year, waiting on a wheelchair over a year, and not to mention they never return your calls.

Wrong equipment sent to me

I have tried repeat ably to get the correct re-usable foam filter for my CPAP machine. I have received the wrong ones over and over. I also get disconnected when I call them

Extremely poor customer service

A shower chair was initially ordered for me by my PCP the last week of august. It never came. I ended up in the hospital again, then a week at my sons house to recover. The order was resent around the second week of September. When I didnt hear anything, I called and was told they needed notes from my doctor. I said you dont think Im going to do that, its your job. I called a couple of times after that and finally gave up. This is the worst customer service Ive ever seen. Preferred customer service people apparently dont want to do their jobs. Its really too bad, equipment and supplies are dictated by the insurance company. If it wasnt, Preferred would not ever be the choice for anyone. I guess since its the end of October, you might as well cancel the chair.

I know Preferred Homecare really doesn't care about me as a customer, as their real customer is prescribing doctors and health insurance plans. Every interaction with the company is painful. No call to them has been answered in under 30 minutes. It's disingenuous to say that I'm on hold due to call volume when they do not staff their call center appropriately or close early or are not open in evenings when people come home from work. I am a busy professional and don't have time to wait on calls for critical medical supplies. It wouldn't be so bad if there was a self-service option on their website. The website is not user-friendly or helpful. I don't expect any feedback from the company on this, but I highly recommend they invest in a Customer Experience (CX) team and/or a website User Experience (UX) team to enter the modern world of business... as us millennials get older, we have customer service expectations that this company cannot currently meet. I am disappointed with every interaction with this company.

Preferred Homecare is a part of Nationwide Medical. Take your business elsewhere

My doctor order CPAP supplies. I was told it would take 24 hours and since my headgear was stretched out I was in desperate need. After not hearing anything for three days, I called. I was told it would take two to three weeks. I explained that I was unable to use my machine and needed the supplies ASAP. After three weeks, and no headgear, I called and was told that Laura was working the case and said she had called me yesterday, 4/21/20, which she had not. Was told again it would take three weeks. That puts me six weeks without this headgear. This is a deadly illness and I can't believe how I'm getting the run around. Take your business elsewhere.
